The main topic of Collot’s work is rape and murder. Not really erotic, and certainly not acceptable in today’s world. Not that we have managed to protect women. Or transgenders, who are on top of the list of people most likely to be killed, for no other reason than who they are. No, we just do not want to see it. Or better, we want to censor it and erase the person who created those monstrous drawings. That’ll do it!
