Photojournalist Max van Norden, frustrated that he was not allowed to photograph the sex workers, started drawing them. He admitted that he could not draw very well. Still, these images captured the essence of an era that is long gone.
These images were originally published in Penthouse and were accompanied by short stories, written in Dutch. We aim to translate these stories, and publish them in an e-Book that will soon be available in the download section of our shop.
This will be a publication with some background information and, of course, all drawings will be part of this publication.
