Past versus present

The Romans believed that the present was less important than how you would be remembered after your death. Well, the medical doctor and stomatologist did not make it to the history books, but everybody who has any knowledge of Erotic Art, is familiar with Jean Morisot’s works as an artist/illustrator.

Speaking of past and present, we would not accept his works today. Most of us would look at his works as unethical and unfit for today’s art lovers.

Of course, we cannot judge the past from the present. Morals have changed, and we, as humans, have grown. As a species, we are still the murderous, and warmongering thugs we have always been throughout the ages, but today we certainly wouldn’t accept the publication of the image above.

Take a look at our latest exhibit of the works of Jean Morisot.

Currently updating

We are currently updating the exhibits section with three major exhibits:

Positions – An anonymous series of illustrations about the most popular positions in the art of love making.

Tijuana Bibles – It is just one Tijuana Bible for now, but many will follow, because they are ideal for viewing on a mobile phone.

Bernard Montorgueil: The mysterious artist who created illustrations with Domination and Education as his main theme.

Early AMEA front page

This is what the front page of AMEA looked in 1999, I believe. We had this banner for the Porn Prayer Support, which was funny, because the referent behind that project was a man who once ran a Porn Bulletin Board, before the Lord called him to save his fellow porn addicts.

Here we go again

It has been a while, but for some reason, I had to revive good old AMEA. Which is odd, because I am currently publishing two printed magazines. See: www.norden221.nl

I had promised myself not to create any new websites, unless there was some form of necessity, because all smartphone junkies get anxiety attacks when they have to leave Threads, TitTok, Instagram, or any other social media.

So, do I need purpose and success, all of a sudden? No, I do this because I like doing this.
