In the early days, there were AMEA forums, called the Hidden Archives, and there was one forum dedicated to the work of artists who regularly visited AMEA. Mark Blanton was one of them, and the antique art of the Romans and Greeks really put the hook in him. He was strictly a pinup artist at the time, in the best American tradition. His craftsmanship was unmatched within the Hidden Archives. The result of him being inspired by ancient art, was a series of drawings he labelled Satyromania.
